General Summary of Duties:  Coordinates day-to-day operations and activities of the clinic(s), Sleep Office and Treatment Center

Supervision Received:  Reports directly to the Director of Operations and Administrator

Supervision Exercised:  Supervises clinic staff as assigned.

Duties:

  1. Recruit, hire, supervise staff and help with staff development of performance goals and objectives.
  2. Evaluate staff performance and recommend increases, promotions, and conduct disciplinary actions and action plans as needed.
  3. Responsible for scheduling employees of the clinic(s) and oversight of other areas to meet current need.
  4. Monitor employee productivity including vacations, absences and overtime.
  5. Attend weekly physician meetings, take and transcribe minutes.
  6. Oversee call schedule postings with changes and notifications as needed.
  7. Maintain clinic buildings, offices and equipment, including computer, printers, telephones and other equipment as needed.  This would include ordering of medical equipment and supplies.
  8. Monitor appointments, patient flow, medical records, medical transcription systems and staff.  This would include review of operations as well as making recommendations for achieving optimal clinical and office efficiencies.
  9. Patient relations to include research of patient complaints and concerns.
  10. Ensure compliance with regulations and with clinic standards of quality patient care, not only ensure but to measure, report and improve them.
  11. Identify and resolve operational problems.
  12. Assist in the creation and implementation of medical support systems and procedures.
  13. Participate in professional development activities to keep current with health care trends and practices.  Monitor changes in nursing legislation and regulations and works with Administration to provide appropriate education.  Schedule CPR classes, assist with continuing educational opportunities.
  14. Complete special projects assigned by senior management and assist other staff with completion of projects as requested.
  15. Perform related work as assigned.

Education:
Nursing Degree with prior management experience preferred.

Other Requirements:
Must be non-smoker
Must have own transportation as some travel between local offices is necessary
