About Us

Thank you for choosing Texas Pulmonary & Critical Care Consultants, PA.

We are specialists in pulmonary diseases. Pulmonary specialists are internists who have been trained in internal medicine and subsequently have received additional training in the field of diseases of the respiratory system. Our primary areas of concern are diseases of the lungs and bronchial tubes, but often we must evaluate the heart and upper respiratory tract, including the nose and mouth, as well as chest and body functions. We often work with other physicians in providing care for patients with severe medical problems in the hospital. Historically, pulmonary physicians treated infectious diseases (i.e., tuberculosis), but chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), emphysema, bronchitis, and lung cancer have become more common. Our practice of pulmonary diseases also includes problems of blood circulation through the lung (i.e., blood clots), immunologic diseases (i.e., asthma), chest trauma, respiratory failure, sleep apnea, and occupational and environmental diseases of the lung.

We do not perform surgery. However, we may often insert needles into the chest to remove fluid from the chest or to obtain a sample of the lining of the chest wall or even of the lung itself. We also often perform bronchoscopy to examine the bronchial tree. We do limit our practice to diseases of the chest and strongly recommend that you have an internist or family physician to take care of your non-pulmonary needs.

Our practice is committed to providing you with a superior level of care in a friendly and personalized environment. Our practice is dedicated to providing Pulmonary Disease health care for our patients, with pleasant surroundings in a state-of-the-art facility.

We are very proud of the relationships that we have established with our patients. The physicians and staff are focused on maintaining your trust and confidence. We are especially honored that our patients have referred so many of their friends and relatives to our practice. We look forward to making lasting relationships with every patient we meet.

Dedicated to Excellence

We hold ourselves to a high level of excellence in every aspect of our practice. This includes the care we provide, the equipment we use, the health and safety protocols we follow, and the incidental services we offer. Above all, our aim is to provide each of our patients with an optimal experience.

Experienced Physicians

Every one of our physicians has completed extensive education and clinical training as well as specialized training in their area(s) of expertise. They are board-certified professionals who hold memberships and fellowships in many professional organizations. Driven to constantly improve their knowledge and the services they provide, our physicians frequently attend conferences and society meetings to learn about the latest advancements in the field and offer these techniques and technologies to our patients. In all of these ways and more, we are able to provide our patients with the highest quality of care.

The Importance of Patient Education

A key part of preventing a health care problem from progressing is being aware of how they can develop. We strongly believe that patient education is an important part of the services we provide. In addition to talking with our patients during their exams, we have a ready supply of patient education materials such as brochures and information sheets in our office. We encourage our patients to read about their condition and ask us questions about how to stay healthy.

Thank you for choosing us to be your Pulmonary Disease health care providers!
