Christopher Grubb MD

Dr. Grubb was born and raised in Fort Worth, Texas. He graduated from The Oakridge School before attending Rhodes College in Memphis, TN where he obtained his Bachelor of Science in Chemistry and a Bachelor of Arts in Music. After Rhodes he went to New York, NY and obtained his MD from the Columbia University Vagelos College of Physicians and Surgeons. He stayed in New York for his Internal Medicine training at Columbia University Irving Medical Center / New York Presbyterian Hospital. He then returned to DFW and completed his fellowships in Cardiovascular Disease and Critical Care Medicine at UT Southwestern Medical Center. He has received awards for medical education and has contributed to over 20 peer-reviewed publications. His clinical interests include cardiac critical care and improving outcomes for patients with cardiogenic shock and those requiring mechanical circulatory support.
Dr. Grubb joined the Texas Pulmonary & Critical Care Consultants family in 2026.
